David Glazer, MD is board certified in Brain Injury Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is currently the Director of Neurorehabilitation at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In addition, he founded and provides medico-legal consulting services through ‘Brain Injury and Total Body Legal Consulting.’

He has served as Medical Director at the VA Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Virginia and as an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Glazer received his BS in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University, followed by spending a year as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the New Vaccine Surveillance Network at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He received his MD from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN.

Following Meharry, Dr. Glazer completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He then completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center (UAB). Following his three years at UAB, he went on to complete a Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey.

Dr. Glazer is excited to answer questions and spread awareness about traumatic brain injuries. The goal of this podcast is to give people the information they need to deal with these injuries as they occur.
